-All the degrees / P.G. Diploma mentioned above must be recognized by the Government of India.

-Final year/semester students who expect their results on or before the date of interview may also apply for the posts. The prescribed qualification is a minimum requirement and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written test/interview. All candidates should have adequate knowledge and skill to work on computer systems.

* Reservation for Physically Challenged (PC), HH only, having hearing loss more than 90 decibels in the better ear (Profound impairment) as per  PWD Act., 1995. 01 person in the area of  Programming Officer (partially deaf).  01 person in the area of  MM Officer (partially deaf ).

 

AGE LIMIT:  As on 07.03 2005 for all posts except Asstt. Executive Engineer (Drilling) : 1.Gen. -30 Years, 2. OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) -33 Years  3.  SC/ST-35 Years and 4.  PC- 40 Years for Gen, 43 years for OBC & 45 years for SC/ST category. For  Asstt. Executive Engineer (Drilling) 1. Gen. - 28 Years, 2. OBC ( Non-Creamy Layer ) - 31 Years and 3.  SC/ST -33 Years.

 

SELECTION PROCESS : (a) Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test (Objective Type) consisting  of two papers namely (i) General Awareness (ii) Subject / Specialization concerned. (b) The candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for interview/personal discussions, as per merit and criteria decided by the Management.(c) The written test is likely to be held on 24th April, 2005 (Sunday). (d ) The exact date of the test shall be communicated to the candidates through admit card and  will be  available on ONGC website. (e) Screening and Selection will be based on the details entered in the OMR application form. As the screening of application will be  done on the basis of  information furnished by the applicants, it is necessary that only accurate, full and  correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong / false information will be a disqualification and  ONGC will NOT be responsible for  any of the consequences of  furnishing of such wrong/false  information.

 

HOW TO APPLY:- Candidates are  required to apply only in prescribed application form which shall be available from the following branches of State Bank of India from 12th   February to 7th March, 2005  on payment  of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only ) for  General &  OBC candidates & Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only)  for  SC/ST/PC candidates.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE DURING TRAINING / ON REGULARISATION:

The company offers one of the best compensation packages in cost to company (CTC) terms in the country with opportunity of merit-oriented advancement in a professionally managed organization focused on growth. Selected candidates will get a consolidated  stipend of 17,000/-  p.m. during one year training period and  candidates completing their  training successfully will be absorbed as Executives in the pay scale of Rs.12,000/- 4%-17,500/- at the basic pay of Rs.12,000/-p.m.. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: (a) Eligible SC/ST/PC candidates called for written test will be reimbursed second class rail / bus fare by the shortest route, on production of railway ticket / number / bus ticket   ( candidates opting for examination city other than the city nearest from mailing address will  not be paid  TA). (b) Applications Forms once sold is not refundable/returnable (c) Application received after 7th March , 2005, will   neither be entertained nor returned. (d) ONGC will not be responsible for any delay whatsoever. (e) Candidates have the option to obtain Question papers in English or Hindi.  (f)  Requests for change of mailing address, examination centre/ category / discipline as declared in the application, will not be entertained.
