ONGC, a Flagship Navratna PSU, engaged in Oil and Gas Business in India and abroad and ranked at the top of ET 500 & BT 500, invites applications from competent professionals for the following key positions:
 
1. Chief Medical Services – One Post
  
a. Qualification - Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS)
   
b. Experience and Job Requirement: Minimum 22 years post qualification experience out of which five years experience in Hospital/Medical Administration at senior level is essential.   Specialization in occupational health will be an added advantage.   The incumbent shall head the medical services in ONGC, comprising of 3 hospitals [150 beds] and several dispensaries all over the country, ably supported by a fleet of expert medical and para-medical professionals. He will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring standard medical infrastructure and services, development of Medical personnel of ONGC, functional support to Safety, Health and Environment Department for occupational Health and Hygiene.
  
  
2. Chief Legal Services - One Post
  
a. Qualification - First class law graduate (3 years Professional Course) Post-Graduate in law will be preferred.
   
b. Experience and Job Requirement: Minimum 22 years post-qualification experience out of which at least five years as senior partner in a reputed Law/Solicitor’s Firm and balance as practicing Advocate in High Court/Supreme Court.   The job involves advising ONGC on legal   issues focused on contractual and labour disputes and managing court cases & arbitration including international arbitration.
 
 
3. Chief - Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) - One Post
  
a. Qualification - First Class Engineering Graduate, Post Graduate/Doctorate in Environment Engineering/ Management will be an added advantage.
   
b.       Experience and Job Requirement:- Minimum 22 years post-qualification experience out of which at least five years at senior level in managing safety, health and environment issues in a major process industry, preferably oil and gas. The job involves organizing and ensuring best of class safety, occupational health and environment management in ONGC, having more than 150 offshore installations, 225 onshore installations and 150 drilling rigs, employing about 30,000 employees in the field, producing one million barrels of oil and oil-equivalent of gas per day.
  
  
4. General Manager (F &A) - 3 Posts (Gen.- 1, SC -1, OBC -1)
 
a. Qualification -   CA/ICWA/first class MBA with specialization in Finance. CS will be an added qualification.
   
b.      Experience and Job Requirement: Minimum 22 years post-qualification experience out of which at least five years at senior level in any of the top 100 companies listed in ET 500/BT 500. The job involves taking initiatives in treasury management, performance bence-marking, mergers and acquisitions at home and abroad etc. in the company with a turnover of Rs. 25,000 crores and with a net worth of Rs. 34,000 crores per annum. The candidates should have thorough knowledge of Budgeting, Commercial Accounting, Costing, Internal Audit, Taxation, Project Financing and execution of large value works and contracts.
  
  
5. Company Secretary - One Post
  
a. Qualification - ACS/FCS & Degree in Law, CA/ICWA/MBA will be an added qualification.
   
b. Experience and Job Requirement: Minimum 22 years post qualification Experience out of which at least five years at senior level in any of the top 100 companies listed in ET 500/BT 500. The job involves compliance of Company law, Listing Agreements and all related activities in ONGC and supervision of these activities in the JV’s and subsidiaries.
 
 
General Information
 
1. All posts are of E-7 (General Manager) level and carry Pay Scale of Rs. 20,500/- to Rs. 26,500/-
2. Maximum age for all posts is 52 years as on 20th January, 2003.   Age relaxable by five (5) years for SC and by three (3) years for OBC for reserved posts.
3. Compensation in CTC terms is one of the best in the country.   Apart from basic pay and dearness allowance, candidates will be eligible for Accommodation/HRA, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance, LFA encashment, Holiday Home facility, Medical facility for self and dependents, Gratuity, Self Contributory Post Retirement Scheme, Composite Social Security Scheme, soft loans etc. etc. as per company rules.
4. Selected candidate are liable to be posted anywhere in India or abroad.
5. Applicants engaged in Govt./Quasi Govt./PSU should send their applications through proper channel or produce NOC when called for interview.   Advance copy can be sent.
