the post of Head,Fire Services. ONGC, India’s Most Valuable Company,

Details of the post is given below:-
Head , Fire Services - One Post
a. Qualification – Ist Class Graduate in Fire Engineering preferably
Post Graduate/ Doctorate in Fire Engineering/ Management.
b. Experience and Job requirement - 22 years post qualification experience
as Class-I executive in a major organization or equivalent position of
which atleast 3 years should be in the next lower scale in PSU/ Govt.
Deptt. or at senior level in managing fire services in a major process
industry, preferably oil and gas. The job involves perspective planning,
management and technical Co-ordination of ONGC Fire Services, Advising
the corporation on training policy of professional and other employees
for their pro-active roles and fire fighting techniques of hydro carbon
fire/explosions, to develop perspective policy for fire suppression devices/equipment
and their maintenance at 150 offshore installations, 225 onshore installations
and 150 drilling rigs.
General
1) The post is of E7 ( General Manager) level and carries pay scale of
Rs. 20,500/- to Rs. 26,500/-.
2) Maximum age is 52 years as on 2nd August, 2004.
3) Eligible candidates shall be called for interview / personal discussions,
as per laid down criteria by the management. Those from outstation will
be reimbursed 1st class/ IInd AC to & fro rail/bus fare by shortest
route as mentioned in their correspondence address, on production of tickets/
ticket numbers.
4) Compensation in CTC terms is one of the best in the country. Apart
from basic pay and dearness allowance, candidates will be eligible for
Accommodation / HRA, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance,
LFA encashment, Holiday Home facility, Medical facility for self and dependents,
Gratuity, Self Contributory Post Retirement Scheme, Composite Social Security
Scheme, Soft loans etc. as per company rules.
5) Selected candidate is liable to be posted anywhere in India or abroad.
